We are a group of socially engaged artists based in North Derbyshire.  We have worked for many years with people with severe communication disabilities arising from autism, learning disabilities, dementia and mental health problems and we offer training and projects in collaboration with care and education services.

Person Centred Practice

Improvisation is at the core of our socially engaged arts practice, a quality that allows the practitioner to celebrate the in-the-moment interests and behaviours of the people involved.  Recognising the uniqueness of each person is a core ethic of our work and is also a key principle in person centred dementia care. We offer training, mentoring and sessions in the following person centred practices:
  • Musical Interaction
  • Person centred Arts
  • Therapeutic Dance
  • Intensive Interaction
  • Behaviour as Communication
  • Non-violent Communication
